Fernando has more than 40 years of solid experience in project, contract, dispute management, risk analysis and management, marketing and business development, strategic planning and organizational alignment. He has work experience with various companies in EPC projects in the Energy, Steel, and Oil & Gas and Infrastructure, among others. He has managed contracts worth over US$ 1 billion, always focused on value generation for customers and other stakeholders, balanced with organization continuity and evolution goals.

Fernando works in direct facing client services, in Project Management, Contract Management and Disputes. He has served as an expert witness in matters for large enterprises at companies such as Gerdau Group, IBM Corp, Light, Vetco, Subsea 7, Saipem, Ferrostaal, OTZ , BRG and Verum Partners, amongst others.

He has structured claims, change orders and disputes equivalent to hundreds of millions of US dollars for large companies such as PETROBRAS, FASTTEL, Anglo-American, Ferrostaal, Prumo Logistics, VLT Carioca, Altera Infrastructure, Concessionaire Bahia Norte and Concessionaire Via Rio, among others.

Fernando holds an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from PUC-RJ, and a Postgraduate Master’s Degree in Nuclear Engineering from UFRJ, as well as an MBA in Project Management specializing in Contracts from FGV. In addition to professional courses in Expertise, Mediation, ContractsX (Harvard), Risk Management, AWP – Advanced Work Packaging / BIM – Building Information Modeling / Lean / Last Planner System, Construction Management, AI for Business and several other courses in Management, Marketing and Finance.
