As part of its ongoing global expansion and commitment to building a unified network of high-caliber member firms, Mavins International today announced the appointment of RKA’s President and CEO, Mr. Ariel Ramirez, CFE, CIA, to serve concurrently as Chairman and CEO of Mavins International Latin America (LATAM) Region.
This strategic appointment marks another milestone in Mavins International’s carefully executed growth plan, designed to strengthen its regional leadership presence across key global markets. Through this expansion, Mavins continues to enhance its ability to deliver consistent, high-quality advisory, assurance, and professional services worldwide, while supporting local member firms with centralized resources in quality, training, technology, and compliance.
Mr. Ramirez brings more than 25 years of international experience in corporate investigations, fraud examination, compliance, and forensic audit, spanning engagements across the world in the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. He currently serves as Group President & CEO of RKA Worldwide Group LLC, overseeing entities in the United States and Brazil, and the formation of new subsidiaries in the Middle-East, Argentina and Colombia.
Mr. Ramirez has earned international recognition for his leadership in anti-bribery and corruption, financial crime investigations, and compliance advisory. Over his career, he has worked with Fortune 500 corporations, multilateral institutions, development banks, and government entities on some of the world’s largest and most complex investigations and compliance matters. He is a multiple times award-winning adjunct professor at the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business, and at other universities and colleges, in the United States and abroad.

Fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese, Mr. Ramirez combines multicultural experience with a distinguished and concurrent corporate, academic, military, and professional services and management consulting record. He holds an MBA in International Business and multiple professional certifications, including CFE, CIA, CRMA, CGAP, CCSA, CFSA, PAHM, and CICA.
With Mr. Ramirez’s appointment, Mavins International continues to execute its global roadmap to expand leadership coverage across all major regions, ensuring strategic alignment, operational excellence, and shared growth across its member network.
