Currently, Mr. Gagnon leads Brown University’s Enterprise Risk Management, Internal Audit, Regulatory Compliance, minors protection, Clery compliance and behavioral and threat assessment processes as the University’s Chief Risk Officer. In this and prior leadership roles with commercial entities in the travel, hospitality, food distribution, financial services and manufacturing industries, Mr. Gagnon worked closely with the organizations’ executives and board members to perform risk assessments, identify strategic risk priorities and implement targeted risk response efforts. His background in finance, audit, and risk management allows Mr. Gagnon to bring a unique perspective to board level discussions and help guide organizations to economically practical solutions to the organizations’ greatest challenges.
