PRIOR POSITIONS

Andy dedicated more than 30 years to the law enforcement and security sector. He began his career as a police officer with the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan Police Department before serving 22 years with the FBI’s Detroit Field Office. During his FBI tenure, he advanced to Supervisory Special Agent, leading the Gang and Criminal Enterprise Program, the Hostage/Crisis Negotiation Program, and the Professional Sports Liaison Program with the Detroit Lions, Detroit Tigers, and Detroit Red Wings.
Following his government service, Andy founded a successful consulting practice supporting law firms, corporations, and organizations throughout Michigan and across the United States. He has developed comprehensive crisis-management frameworks that help organizations prepare for, mitigate, and respond to critical incidents. Andy personally delivers training in threat identification, behavioral assessment, and workplace violence prevention.

Drawing on nine years as a forfeiture investigator with the U.S. Secret Service, Andy also assists companies with sensitive internal investigations involving allegations of financial misconduct or irregularities. Over the course of his FBI career, he led numerous long-term, complex investigations into local and transnational gangs, drug networks, criminal enterprises, and violent organizations. His work earned multiple awards and commendations in recognition of outstanding investigative accomplishments and actions taken in the line of duty.
